A Web of Deception

Deception is a key factor in driving the plot of Othello. Iago manages to deceive just about everyone in the play but he is not the only character who wears two faces.

Task

1. Start with Iago. Create a web that shows all who and how he deceives characters from the play. Don’t forget to locate references from the play (act, scene and line numbers!)

2. Look at other characters from the play. Who else uses deception to get what they want?
